The Specials are reuniting for a 2009 tour to celebrate their 30th anniversary. The legendary ska band have announced they are getting back together to play a series of UK gigs next April. In an exclusive interview in this week's issue of NME, which hits newsstands tomorrow (December 3), frontman Terry Hall said that the band were playing in 2009 to celebrate their significant birthday. "It's the right time to do it [reunite] - we talked about it at 25 but we weren't together enough. Now we're all getting on and it feels comfortable again," he said. Original members of the band including Hall, Neville Staple, Sir Horace Gentleman, Roddy Radiation, Lynval Golding and John Bradbury are all confirmed to play the gigs... www.nme.com

Manchester United Asia Tour (black tshirt)

"The Reds have now announced each of the match dates for this summer's Asia Tour.

The Tour will include stops in Jakarta for the first time, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur and China. Organized by ProEvents, the Tour will provide both crucial pre-season training and an opportunity for the world champions to play in front of legions of fans across Asia.
The Reds’ schedule* will see the team depart from Manchester on 16 July and head to Malaysia to play a Malaysian XI on July 18. From there, the team will head to Jakarta, Indonesia.
In Jakarta, the team expect to play against an Indonesia Super League Select at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium on 20 July (match to be confirmed). Sir Alex's side third tour opponents will be Korean K-League runners-up FC Seoul on July 24.
United’s final match will be played in China and will see the Reds face Hangzhou Greentown FC on 26 July.The deadline for supporters to express an interest in tickets to these matches has now passed. More information on the tour is available in our Asia Tour 2009 section of the website."
